Cilantro is a popular Mediterranean herb which is called as coriander leaf in Asian countries. It is used as a garnish in many dishes. In the United States, the leaves of the plant are referred to as cilantro (the Spanish translation) and the seeds are referred to as coriander. Cilantro is also commonly referred to as Chinese parsley.
