Amla to treat diabetes

Amla – Indian gooseberry, scientifically called as Phyllanthus emblica, is a nutritious fruit that contains Vitamin B and C, and also has properties that reduce the blood sugar level and cholesterol level. It is also widely used in Ayurveda, especially for diabetes. Amla treat diabetes effectively.

DIY – Amla to treat diabetes

  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 medium size Amla ((Indian Gooseberry))
  • Water
  1. To prepare this drink, all you need is Amla (Indian gooseberry), turmeric powder and water.
  2. Clean and remove seed from Amla. Chop into small pieces.
  3. Add enough water to a pan, to boil Amla in it.
  4. Add chopped Amla to it.
  5. Switch on the flame and boil it.
  6. Once amla becomes soft, switch of the flame. Strain it.
  7. Add turmeric powder to the strained water.
  8. Mix well.
  9. Your drink is ready.

You can consume this drink in the morning before breakfast.
