
All green leafy vegetables are good sources of reducing belly fat, but cabbage is one of the best. Cabbage is rich in nutrients, dietary fibre, sulphur and iodine which makes you feel full and keeps hunger at bay. It plays an important role in removing stubborn fats from abdomen without causing bloating and tummy discomfort.
DIY – Cabbage salad to lose post pregnancy tummy
- 1 cup Chopped cabbage
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
- Cilantro (Chopped)
- Curry leaves (Chopped)
- Chop a cabbage into small slices. To saute the cabbage, you can use a healthy cooking oil like sesame oil or olive oil.
- Pour oil in a pan – just to saute.
- Add chopped cabbage to the pan.
- Saute the cabbage for a few minutes till it is parboiled.
- Add a teaspoon of pepper.
- Add half a teaspoon salt.
- Saute again for a couple of minutes more.
- Now add the chopped leaves for flavour and nutrition.
- Mix well.
- Good to eat!
You can consume this cabbage salad instead of breakfast or lunch.
