Cucumber face mask

Flaunting a beautiful skin is something everyone would be happy to do! Using a natural homemade cucumber face mask is one of the best solutions to it since there are no side effects.

This DIY explains how to use cucumber on your facial skin. This face mask can cool down your skin and reduce redness caused by heat/weather conditions. It also reduces skin irritation, itchiness and sunburn.


DIY – Cucumber face mask

  • 1 teaspoon Curd
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 medium size cucumber
  1. To make this face mask, you will need 1/4 of a medium sized cucumber, dry turmeric powder and fresh yogurt/curd.
  2. Clean and peel the cucumber.
  3. Grate the peeled cucumber using a grater.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon of fresh curd to the grated cucumber.
  5. Add turmeric powder to the cucumber and curd. If you do not want any yellow stain on your skin, reduce the amount of turmeric powder you add.
  6. Mix everything together evenly.
  7. Apply this mix on your face and neck like a mask.
  8. Let it stay for a minimum of 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

As a word of caution: People who are prone to catch cold easily, do not refrigerate the cucumber and curd before preparation.
