How to extract aloevera gel

Aloevera gel has many health benefits that can help you in many issues when it comes to general health, skin and hair. It is easy to extract fresh gel from a aloevera leaf.

DIY – How to extract Aloevera gel

  • Aloevera leaf ((freshly cut))
  1. Before you start the process, it is very important to clean your hands.
    Cut a leaf from aloevera plant and clean it well.
  2. Remove the green layer (skin) from the leaf using a knife. Be careful that you don’t scrape off the gel along with the skin.
  3. Once you remove the skin, transparent gel will be visible.
  4. Use a knife or a spoon, to extract the gel from the leaf.
  5. The extracted gel will be fully transparent.
  6. You can store the extracted gel in a clean airtight container.

The extracted gel can be used within 3 or 4 days. If you want to store it for a longer duration, the extracted gel can be mixed with preservatives, eg.Vitamin C powder.
