Onion contains potassium, Prostaglandin A1 and E which helps to reduce hypertension. Onion has quercitin, a powerful antioxidant flavonol which is linked in reducing high blood pressure. Ginger helps in decreasing blood pressure, by preventing blood clots from forming in blood vessels and arteries. It also acts as a blood thinner and reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Regular consumption of onion cures diarrhea, liquefying mucus, purifying blood and improves blood circulation. Ginger relieves indigestion, belly aches, morning sickness, strengthens the immune system and menstrual cramps.
