How to make a natural face scrub with oatmeal – DIY

  • 1 tbsp Oats
  • 1 tsp Raw honey
  • 1 tsp Almond oil
  1. Take a tablespoon of oatmeal, raw organic honey and almond oil (you can also use olive oil if almond oil is not available).
  2. In a blender, place oatmeal.
  3. Blend it on high for a couple of minutes to make a fine powder.
  4. Take 2 teaspoons of the ground oats powder in a bowl.
  5. Add almond oil. Almond oil is not sticky and is hence suitable for all skin types (even for acne prone ones).
  6. Add honey.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Keep mixing well till you have such a paste. You can add a little water if required. But a scrub needs to be thick – so do not add too much water.

Directions for use:

  • Take the scrub in your palm.
  • Gently massage your face and neck in a circular motion.
  • Wash off after 2 – 3 minutes.
