Neem face pack diy

Neem is a wonder herb with anti-bacterial properties that are extremely beneficial for skin. In olden days, neem leaves were soaked in water overnight and used to bathe the next day morning. Neem face packs and face washes have become increasingly popular due to the benefits they offer.

Let us see how to make a simple neem face pack to clear acne and also prevent the occurrence of new ones. This face pack can also treat itchiness in the skin. This is suitable for all skin types and has no side effects.

 

Neem face pack to clear acne – DIY

  • 10 – 12 leaves Neem
  • 2 teaspoons Wild turmeric (Kasthuri manjal) powder (Alternatively fresh turmeric can be used.)
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  1. Take fresh neem leaves and wash them well before using.
  2. Tear the leaves into smaller pieces. On a grinding stone, place these torn leaves.
  3. Add a little water and start grinding. Those wdo do not have a grinding stone can use a small blender.
  4. Keep grinding till you have a smooth paste. You can also use rose water instead of water.
  5. Take wild turmeric powder in a mixing bowl.
  6. Add the neem paste to this powder,
  7. Add a teaspoon of honey.
  8. Add water and mix all the ingredients together into a paste.
  9. Done. Apply this paste twice a week to clear acne.

Directions for use:

  1. Apply the mask evenly on face and neck.
  2. Keep it on till the mask dries.
  3. Wash off with plain water.
  4. Follow up with gram flour face wash.

Neem is very bitter and residue on the face can make you feel uncomfortable.
