Radish leaves juice to cure jaundice

Jaundice is a yellowish tinge in the body and eye due to excess mounts of Billrubin in the blood stream. Jaundice could occur is new born babies as well and this is referred to as newborn jaundice. This generally goes away after a few days or after sun exposure. The jaundice discussed in this article and the recipe suggested here is that which occurs in kids (8+ years) and in adults. The remedy is not suitable for new born jaundice. The juice of radish leaves can be used to cure jaundice.

Radish leaves contain high amounts of Iron, Vitamin C, Calcium and Folic acid. You can consume the leaves after cooking like any other curry. Or you can boil the leaves along with green gram dal, salt and coconut shredding for a flavourful accompaniment to rice.

When applied externally, a paste of radish leaves can reduce pain due to rheumatism.

The fiber in radish leaves prevent constipation and everyday problems in the digestive system. Since they can cure constipation, radish leaves can also be used to treat piles.

Radish leaves can work as a detox and flush out toxins. It can hence help to clear and prevent acne. External application can cleanse the skin and moisturize it well.

The high amounts of Vitamin C and anti-oxidants can Build the immunity system and protect the body against various diseases.

Both radish as a vegetable and its leaves can help to prevent respiratory disorders including common cold. Radish soup can be regularly (twice a week) given to kids to prevent common cold and flue at bay.

Just blend the leaves with water, strain and extract the juice. Consuming this fresh juice can reduce the intensity of jaundice and cure it by also supplying more amounts of oxygen to the blood.

Radish leaves juice to cure jaundice – Home remedy

  • 5-6 leaves Radish
  • 200 ml Water
  1. You can use leaves from a radish plant and filtered water.
  2. Remove the leaves from the vegetable.
  3. Clean and cut the leaves and place in a blender.
  4. Add water to the leaves.
  5. Blend on high for a few minutes.
  6. Pass the blended juice through a strainer to get the clear juice.
  7. Here is the juice.

Dosage:

You can consume 100 ml of the juice twice a day for 10 days to cure jaundice.
