Neem to treat furuncles

Boils also called as furuncles is a type of skin infection. Before a boil appears, the area reddens at the beginning stage which then turns hard and firm. It causes pain and pus forms inside the skin and sometimes the severe pain may bring fever too. Boils occur due to poor diet, improper functioning of the immune system, diabetes, unhygienic conditions or bacterial infection. These type of skin infections are usually harmless and disappear within a week. Though it is easily curable, it should not be left untreated for a long period. Simple remedies can be followed to treat boils efficiently at home.

Benefits of neem and turmeric

Neem and turmeric are the good combination to treat boils. Take handful neem leaves, and half teaspoon of turmeric powder. Blend them and make paste by adding little water. Apply this paste on the boils. Neem helps cure boils very quickly.

In Ayurveda, neem has been used to treat many skin ailments. Neem has anti-fungal, analgesic, anti-inflammatory properties. Neem contains vitamin C which is good for the skin. How to treat boils with neem and turmeric – DIY

  • 1 Handful Neem leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  1. To make paste use neem leaves and turmeric powder.
  2. Add one handful neem leaves to blender.
  3. Add half a teaspoon of turmeric powder to blender.
  4. Add little water.
  5. Blend the ingredients well.
  6. Neem paste is done.

Directions for use:

  • Apply this paste on the furuncles or boils twice a day.
  • Repeat the process daily to get out the pus and to dry the boil gradually.
