Coriander seeds treat fever

The sudden changes in weather cause infection and viral fever. Viral fever causes body ache, headache, vomiting and diarrhea. Some natural remedies can help you a lot to get rid of viral fever. One of the best kitchen remedies to treat fever is using coriander seeds. Coriander seeds contain many medicinal properties. It has phytonutrients and vitamins that boost one’s immune system well. It also has powerful microbial properties and essential oils in it, thus making it the best home remedy for fever.

Take one teaspoon of coriander seeds and crush them well. Add this to a glass of water and boil for few minutes. Strain the drink, add some boiled milk and palm sugar. Consume this drink regularly to bring down fever. This drink has the power of reducing fever and cools down the body.

Coriander seeds are rich sources of vitamin A, K, C, folic acid, potassium, magnesium, calcium and iron. Coriander seeds are quite effective for mouth ulcers and sores. Gargling coriander boiled water can cure mouth ulcers. The same boiled water can be used to treat skin rashes and itchiness.

The combination of coriander seeds, turmeric and honey can cure acne and pimples effectively. Anti-bacterial properties of coriander seed works well against pimples and blackheads. How to treat fever with coriander seeds – DIY

  • 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds (Known as Dhaniya in Tamil)
  • 150 ml Water
  • 50 ml Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Palm sugar
  1. To make this drink use coriander seeds, cow’s milk, palm sugar and water.
  2. Add one teaspoon of coriander seeds to mortar.
  3. Crush it well.
  4. Add 150 ml water to pan.
  5. Add crushed coriander seeds to pan.
  6. Add 1/2 teaspoon of palm sugar and boil for two minutes.
  7. Strain the drink.
  8. Add 50 ml boiled cow’s milk to it.
  9. The drink is done.

Dosage:

Make and consume this tea both morning and evening till fever is reduced.
